Born in Kowloon, Hong Kong where he spent his first 2 1/2 years before moving to the United Kingdom.

Martyn is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). He is currently the Specifications Manager at Xtratherm and is based Devon in the United Kingdom.

Martyn has spent his working life in the construction industry and uses his business skills and contacts to drive forward the excellent team he has built around him.

It was during a trip to South Africa where he met Clinton, Barbara, and Brendyn and experienced first hand the life changing conservation work being done on the ground. In particular the devastating affects of syndicated rhino poaching drove him to want to do more to make a difference.

These discussions ultimately led to the creation of Ubuntu Wildlife Trust.
